the funniest man in the world
we had the pleasure of seeing Brian Regan live last night. if you are not familiar with Mr. Regan's comedy, you are in for a treat. I recommend purchasing his CD and DVD. you will NOT be disappointed. and, if you ever get the chance to see him live, DO IT! the show was sold out, at a University of Utah auditorium, and we were in the very first row. it was a fabulous night. he put on a great show. so great, in fact, that one of the security guys, his back to the stage, was laughing throughout the entire show.

oh, brother, it was fucking AWESOME. he's hilarious to hear....his DVD is brilliant...but LIVE, oh man...
he did over an hour of material and easily 90% of it was new stuff...and GREAT...
at one point he used a segue, referring back to a previous bit about golf, then forgot if he actually used that bit. like i said, i was in the very first row, and i saw the moment of terror on his face...and it was HILARIOUS...he then remember that indeed he did DO that bit, so the segue was valid...and he played it off perfectly, referring back to it throughout the act...
man, my cheeks were hurting and my gut was splitting....too good.
i'm thinking of trying to score tickets for the January dates he has planned....
really, folks, he's THAT good...if you haven't heard him you NEED to!
